Outdoor Meditation

Energy is the common denominator in each and all of these practices. They all seek to employ energy as it moves internally through the body and externally through the environment.

It appears as though are many more differences than these few similarities. Some differences are substantial, but many are little more than distractions, usually created by those who would sell product or service to those in need or in a state of desperation.

Lets begin with a working definition of Energy.

This is a good place to start because no one who now lives on earth has ever seen energy or knows what it is. But we can see what happens when energy moves the physical world around. We know it is there because we can see the shadows when it passes through the physical world. Energy is not magic. It is the foundation and the essence of everything we do and all that we know. Energy is the power that changes things, a power can be influenced, directed, and under certain conditions, controlled.

Medicine, according to Merriam Webster, is "the science and art dealing with the maintenance of health and the prevention, alleviation, or cure of disease". This sounds good, but misses an important point as relates to Energy Medicine. A strong and consistent energy health practice is a prerequisite to the science and art of every form of medicine.

That practice is Energy Medicine.
